LEGO WeDo in St.Conaire’s N.S.

The school recently purchased fifteen LEGO WeDo Activity kits. These packs have been proven to be a valuable resource in the teaching of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). LEGO Education WeDo is a fantastic, simple-to-use tool that enables students to learn, construct and then bring their models to life. The WeDo Activity Pack enables students to work individually and collaboratively as young scientists, engineers, mathematicians and creative writers. The children have had great fun building various robots and learning about the mechanics that enable them to work. The pupils program these robots to complete various tasks using simple coding software. Samples of pupil projects will be displayed on the school website during the year.
