Junior pupils pray with Santa
Over 200 pupils met Santa in Ss. John & Paul Church on Friday, December 16th 2016. Pupils from ten classes made their way to the church with great excitement. Fr. Tom led a prayer service which featured beautiful singing by all the pupils. He told the Christmas story in a very simple and illustrated way. A special visitor came to the church during the ceremony. It was Santa and he was just passing and decided to pay the boys and girls and their teachers, SNA’s and parents a quick visit. He got more than he expected because he had to pose for photos with each pupil. Kind-hearted as always, Santa agreed to the pictures and had a great welcome for everyone. He even managed to present the children with a special prayer card. Thank you, Santa, for spending the time with us and we pray that you travel safely on Christmas Eve and that you have a well-deserved rest in 2017!
