Tesco Stronger Starts Cooks at St. Conaire’s NS

St. Conaire’s was delighted to host the Tesco Stronger Starts Cooks programme in the school recently.  This programme showed pupils how to prepare and cook a healthy and nutritious meals from scratch.  Tesco provided the ingredients, the recipes, the cooking utensils and the professional chef.  Almost 90 children took part and were shown how to prepare a meal.  The feedback was very positive and the children thoroughly enjoyed eating the dishes they cooked themselves.  Thanks to Tesco, the professional team who came to school and their Shannon-based staff for a very worthwhile experience.
