4th Class Plant Senshyu Onions

Ms. McInerney’s 4th class planted Senshyu or Japanese Winter Onions today, January 6, 2015.  The onions are a hardy variety and will hopefully do well in our garden.  The boys and girls will be anxiously watching their progress over the coming months.  We will place netting over this bed to keep the greedy crows away.  We hope that we will be able to harvest the onions before we close for the summer holidays in June 2015.  Click here to see a gallery of photographs.
