Parents’ Association

Each parent is automatically a member of the Parents’ Association of St. Conaire’s. A committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting which is held in the first term of every school year. This committee meets on a regular basis to co-ordinate its work. The Parents’ Association is affiliated to the National Parents’ Council (Primary).

Our Parents’ Association meets with the school principal to discuss issues that are of mutual concern. The Parents’ Association organises a number of events to help with fundraising in support of the school. Events in the past have included termly cake sales, a fun quiz night, a golf classic, greyhound racing and a sponsored walk.

The Parents’ Association facilitates the operation of the pupil personal accident insurance scheme. Details of this scheme are sent out to all parents at the start of each new school year.
