Science Fair 2015

St. Conaire’s 3rd and 4th classes held their Science Fair on March 23 2015.  There was great excitement throughout the school.  Experiments ranged from investigations of volcanoes, the workings of hot air balloons, how raisins can dance in certain liquids, plants absorbing water, how combustion requires oxygen and many more.  Some children made cameras, stethoscopes, air-powered cars and their very own quicksand and slime.  The pupils really enjoyed the hands-on experiments.  A huge element of enjoyment was derived from the interactions between students.  Many thanks to Mrs. Glynn for co-ordinating the fair and also to all the class teachers and school staff who supported it.  Click here to see photographs of the day.
