Planting at our memorial tree

On Thursday, October 22 2014, children from Ms. Malone’s Senior Infants and Ms. Hogan’s 1st class planted spring bulbs around our memorial tree.  They were helped by a group of children from older classes under the guidance of Mrs. Glynn.  This memorial tree is dedicated to staff and pupils of St. Conaire’s who have died.  This tree and our book of remembrance assist us in remembering those we have lost.  A variety of spring bulbs such as daffodils, tulips, crocuses, allium and fritillaria have been planted in this special place to enhance the process of remembering.  Click here to see photographs of the planting under way.
