Parent Association Fun Walk 2016

Our Parents’ Association Family Fun Walk took place in glorious sunshine on Friday, April 15 2016.  The walk began in the school yard and headed towards the river walk.  The Junior Walkers diverted at the back pitch at Wolfe Tones while the Senior Walkers went towards the River Shannon.

The Parents’ Association, chaired by Debbie McEvoy, went to great efforts in planning the event.  The Board of Management wishes to acknowledge their work in over the past few months.  The Board would like to thank all who offered sponsorship, the collectors, the stewards, those who packed goody bags, our raffle sponsors.  Thanks also goes to Wolfe Tones na Sionna for working closely with us in facilitating the walk and by helping with stewarding, Shannon Gardaí, Order of Malta Shannon and the neighbours in the vicinity of the school.  Our gratitude also goes to all the school staff who helped out with the walk.  The funds raised go towards benefitting all pupils in the school with our proposed re-development of our field.  Click on the following link to view photographs of the walk:  Family Fun Walk 2016
