Indoor Camogie and Hurling Teams in action

St. Conaire’s indoor camogie and hurling teams had a busy week last week.  Both panels had been training hard since Christmas and took part in their respective competitions over the past few days.  The indoor camogie team played three other schools in Shannon Leisure Centre and progressed to the next round of their competition.  Well done to the girls and to their teachers, Ms. Malone and Ms. Kelleher.

The boys were also in competitive action and travelled to Cratloe to play against three other teams.  In what was a keenly contested group St. Conaire’s took second place after three excellent performances.  This sets the boys up nicely as training begins for the outdoor season soon.  Well done to the boys and their teachers, Mr. Pilkington, Mr. MacNamara and Mr. O’Brien.
