Salt dough decorations

This week Ms. Coyne’s second class have been busy baking and decorating salt dough ornaments for our Christmas tree. Everyone worked really hard and put a lot of effort into their creations. These ornaments are really easy to recreate at home. All you have to do is mix one cup of flour, one cup of salt and a half a cup of water in a large bowl to make the dough. Roll it out and use cookie cutters to shape your ornaments. Put them in the oven for a couple of hours at 100 degrees and then you are ready to decorate them any way you like. We used festive colours and then sprayed them with some glitter. Well done to all the students who worked so hard, your ornaments turned out beautiful and would brighten up any room.
