Christmas Peace Concert 2016

St. Conaire’s School Choir and the Three Tenors performed in concert on Sunday night, December 11th, 2016 in Ss. John & Paul Church.  The concert was very well-attended and the audience were treated to a lovely array of music and song.  Under the direction of Audrey Cleary and Deirdre McDonagh, the school choir performed two songs and joined the tenors for a third.  The boys and girls were very warmly received and derived great enjoyment from working with professional singers and musicians.  The tenors (Shane Morgan, Dominic McGorian and Derek Moloney) were accompanied by Chris O’Sullivan on piano and Cathy O’Neill on violin.  Their set covered a wide range of musical tastes and the performances were delivered with warmth, humour and vigour.  The interaction with the audience was especially warm and the large attendance greatly appreciated the singing and playing.  Many thanks to all who supported the show in any way.  A special word of thanks to the choir and their teachers, to the parents and Board of Management, to St. Senan’s Parish Shannon, Michelle Justice (Sacristan), Eason’s Skycourt, Teresa Woods in the Parish Office and John Quinn Butchers Ballycasey.  Click on the following link to see pictures from the concert:  Christmas Peace Concert 2016
