5th class extend their pictures

Ms. White’s 5th class painted a piece of work called Extend A Picture.  For this we were given a paint pallet with the three primary colours (blue, yellow and red) along with black and white.  We were also given a blank cardboard plate to mix our colours on.  We got to choose a small version of a famous painting such as Starry Night.  We glued the small version onto an A3 page and extended it.  In this art lesson we learned how to mix colours and then to create new colours.  By Jessica Dempsey.  If you want to see our extended pictures click on this link:  Extend A Picture by Ms. White’s class
